Assistant Management Accountant

Full time, Permanent 

Salary: £35,000 + company bonus scheme + 27 days holiday (+ bank holidays + birthday off)

Working: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Location: Hybrid Role - 3 days from home and 2 days in our Leeds Head Office! 

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in F,P&A reporting, month end close, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll

Tasks Include: 

• F,P&A reporting including maintaining accurate P&L
• Reconciling the bank on a daily basis
• Month end close duties including the posting of accruals and prepayment journals, GL reconciliations and analysis
• Managing the complete Accounts Receivable process, ensuring strong client relationships are maintained and effectively minimising outstanding trade debtor balances
• Overseeing the entire process of Accounts Payable management ensuring that supplier payments are promptly initiated and included in the weekly payment run when due for payment
• Developing and nurturing a strong connection with the HR department and group payroll provider. Handling monthly payroll processing, as well as efficiently managing employee timesheets and expense records
• Processing VAT returns and submission to HMRC

You will have:

• Two years' experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Dynamics 365 and Excel
• Part qualified in ACCA / CIMA
• Experience with month end journal posting
• Some cash flow experience
• Payroll experience is beneficial
